At 10AM on October 31 Laika was taken for her daily walk prior to being fitted
with space garments and sensors. -NOTE- This is historically correct.

SPECIAL NOTE- I DO NOT KNOW TO WHERE THE WALK WAS MADE.
However, let me temper this with a degree of speculation.  If I had been making that
walk, then it would have been out to the pad by way of the railroad track.
ALSO, THE R-7 ROCKET WAS NOT ON THE PAD AT THIS POINT IN TIME.
IT IS ROUGHLY ILLUSTRATED ABOVE TO GIVE THE READER AN IDEA OF
HOW IT WOULD APPEAR FROM A DISTANCE, JUST UPRIGHTED AND WITH THE FOUR HOLD DOWN ARMS
TEMPORARILY SWUNG BACK CLEAR OF THE ROCKET.

WALKING AT BAIKONUR COSMODROME
From 1957 till present,  the R-7 test flights, all the
Sputniks and all the manned flights, Vostok, Voskhod,
and Soyuz, have used Launch Pad # 1 at Baikonur.
The R-7 rocket that Laika will ride is repositioned within the
Horizonal Assembly Building as she is taken for a walk.
NOTE- This scene is a fanciful creation.
